For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Greetings in the name of Jesus!

Sin is a catchall word for the things that make what’s right become un-right. The uprightness for which God created us is dominated by the serpent’s deception and its wages: death. But God uses death’s downward pull to strip us of our conceit, to keep us real and from being further deceived. God’s grace is uplifting. His final objective is to lift us back to the everlasting uprightness that is not earned, but rather the free gift of God through Him who bore our sins and was lifted on the cross. In so doing, God also lifts us up from our despondency over this mean time to live by the endurance of faith towards the life that is to come.
