or I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. Romans 8:18-19
Greetings in the name of Jesus!
Suffering in this life isn’t optional; it’s inescapable. So, if we must suffer, it is better to do so for doing good if that is God’s will, knowing that Christ rescues us from the futility of life on this side of heaven. Jesus is our suffering servant. He came not to be served but to serve, and as the head of His body—the Church—He takes charge of the serving, issuing our personal callings, giving us the privilege of sharing in His joy and filling up what is lacking in His afflictions. He doesn’t just know our every affliction; He makes them His own, lifting our despondent hearts to wait eagerly for His final revelation.
